Merriam Webster tweets about term 'doggo'

Merriam Webster tweets about 'doggo' and gets flooded with adorable dog pics.

The online Webster dictionary announced Wednesday that it's been monitoring the word 'doggo."

"Many people use doggo to refer to their dog. The term doggo has its origins not with good puppy's, but with late 19th-century slang," the dictionary said in the post, noting that it was often referred to as to "lie doggo."
